manfred

manfred is something of a secondary character / npc on this blog (going through his own narrative arc in various verses), and while i don't, like, put out starter calls for him specifically usually you are always welcome to send memes for him, instead of emmrich, because sometimes it's just fun to write manfred doing manfred things. he's just so intrinsically tied to emmrich it's hard to have one without the other, so i push him around on the board as needed. and, obviously, considering emmrich's possible lichdom, there are verses where manfred is not present.

nsfw

nsfw stuff will happen on this blog. oftentimes it's of the blood and guts variety, but sometimes it's of the sex variety, and i don't pigeonhole it strictly for sunday because i go where the muse drives the bus. however, anything of the spicier variety will be under a cut and tagged as nsft to spare your dashes in public. i also have a spicy sideblog for images and such at @barebackboned (yeah, yeah, i know) if that's your thing. one day i'll remember to use it. we don't have to have a ship for you to send things in from memes, but i do retain the right to not answer those things if i'm just not feeling it.

shipping

i ship chemistry, fullstop. i have to feel like a character is going to be a good fit for emmrich and what he's looking for in someone? but i also mean i have to feel like we, the muns, can get along and talk about this stuff and develop it outside of strictly ic threads. i wanna talk about the ship. make up dumb what ifs about the ship. create incredibly mundane and specific headcanons for the ship. there will be no shallow ships here, i'm gonna yell about it with my whole damn chest. also, and this is the biggest thing outside of chemistry: not every romance is going to be exactly like canon. not every rook will receive the cookie cutter game scenario as presented in canon in this respect, because i feel like different characters should take a different path to the bone zone. also, as such, i'm limiting how many rooks i'm willing to ship with, because at some point it stops being fair to both of us, especially if a rook already has a ship or two with another emmrich. i won't put a specific number on that (yet), so if you think there's chemistry by all means, shoot your shot, come talk to me about it. but be aware i'm also very keen on exploring relationships outside the rook / companion set up, and don't plan on shipping with every rook no matter who was romanced in game. final note: if it was emmrich that was romanced, i'm still gonna require chemistry and some platonic build up, to get a feel for how that character ticks. just as a head's up. there's no autoshipping here at all.

i can be picky about who i follow, this is very true. mostly this is because, again, this is not my main blog and i have to curate what i take on so i don't get overwhelmed. my criteria is fairly simple: be 21+ and have that listed somewhere in your info. have info about your character, especially your ocs (otherwise how can i know what i'm following?) because i read all of that before i ever hit that follow button. don't be gross, which you would think would be obvious and you would, in fact, be wrong. if you're heavily veilguard-critical and don't tag it, we're especially not gonna work. i'm not writing a thesis on why everything is bad when i want to shitpost on my blog about my silly little necromantic ray of sunshine.

unfollowing

i unfollow for a few different reasons: one, we've been mutuals for a while and there's been no interaction despite me reaching out. two, we just don't jive - it happens, there's nothing personal, and you can't make it work with everyone but i hope you have fun with your blorbo. three, you've been problematic in some way. four, you've gone inactive for several months. like, that's it. that's all. i'm an asshole, but i'm not that kind of asshole, i know how to use postblock and blacklist as needed, and if someone really harshes my vibe, i just soft / block and go on about my day. it's generally nothing personal.

all edits, gifsets, screencaps, and captures i personally post are made by me. psd is also mine. any templates used will have the template linked in the body of the post it's present in. and last, but not least, this rules / info site is handcoded by yours truly, using notepad and the extremis iron man legends action figure as a rubberduck. he doubles sometimes as a fountain pen stand. pretty sure he hates his life but that's none of my business.
